One of the most loved presents that I ever gave. Nate loves his AB (animal blanket) quilt. I have to mend the seams periodically. It had been loved almost to death

I was given a roll of 4 1/2″ wide Aunt Gracie 30’s reproduction prints, I made this simple
design to not waste any of it. I also added men’s oxford shirting stripes salvaged from shirts.

I bought the huge scale circle fabric first for this quilt,
which represents the bubble towers in the lobby at the National Aquarium in
Baltimore,MD. the other blocks have fish centers and are tilted.
I call this ” I got seasick at the Baltimore Aquarium”.

I can’t seem to decide whether this is a wall hanging or a baby quilt! It is made with Laurel Burch’s line of bright cat fabrics. It is so Bright! I love the striped binding. I made these with the endless half square triangle leftovers from the Friendship star quilts mom and I made.

This quilt was commissioned by my second son, Jacob Peck for his lovely lady, Amanda Call. She graduated from Skyline H.S. in Salt Lake City, UT on June 6, 2003. She is very feminine. I like the way the purple and yellow hearts just seemed to be her. All the squares on my denim quilts are 6 1/2″ by 6 1/2″. The hearts are just appliqued down.
Here is a lovely pic of Amanda and her graduation quilt.

I don’t usually like samplers, but this one has grown on me.Good thing, since I will never make another (unless it is a row quilt).

Purple Minkee Baby Quilt
This is the minkee quilt I gave to my baby sister for her first child.

Pink Minkee Quilt
This one I made with scraps and then sold. Funny it ended up with my middle sister for her first girl.

First Minkee Quilt
This is the first Minkee Quilt that I made. It started as a kit from Elaine’s Quilt Block.

I finally finished something!!! This wall hanging is an adaptation of the skinny block of the month pattern that Square Corner quilters did on one of their sew days. Everything is from my stash except the ribbon that I used to bind it with.

Never met a kid yet who could resist these quilts full
of different novelty fabrics! We have collected tons
of prints over the years and made many of these
happy kids twin sized quilts.
